It would be nice if you could add the approximate size of the flowers, for it is hard to imagine them without that. I am Swiss, but live in Spain, and there are desert-like regions here where there are tiny little blossoms that grow close to the ground, but on a photo they often look like big garden flowers.

Similar – these are small flowers, height of maybe 5 cm, flower about 1 cm.
